Delta Elevator Service Corporation was founded in 1969 based on the patents and inventions of Paul D. Abbott. Over the years, Delta has contributed a number of technological advances to the elevator industry, including the Deltavator emergency power system, the first commercial computerized elevator traffic analyzer and the first truly reliable fully electronic step selector. Delta’s maintenance accounts included and still include some of the fastest and tallest elevator installations from Boston to Buffalo.

Beckwith Elevator Company was founded in 1889 to manufacture and install hand-powered dumbwaiters. Since its inception Beckwith has provided vertical transportation equipment and service for many prominent customers in the New England area including original installations, modernization programs and planned maintenance. Beckwith grew to be one of the largest independent elevator companies in New England.
